Beyond Good & Evil 2

I wish rumors didn't exist but they spread like wild fire.  Recently it was said that Michel Ancel had left Ubisoft Montpellier to start up his own company which left Beyond Good & Evil 2's development in question.  Well keep your chin up because they're just not true.  How exactly is the game's development coming along?  That's another story, for now hit the jump for details.

I knew they wouldn't give up!  A very french interview between Ubisoft's Geoffroy Sardin and Gamekult released information that "Beyond Good & Evil 2" and "I Am Alive" are still in development.  Having just heard of I Am Alive, I'm going to check it out, but I'm ever so happy to hear that BG&E2 is still sitting on the table and not in the recycle bin.

Is anyone else as glad to hear this as I am?

Beyond Good & Evil was a short, but fantastic and heart warming game. With the idea of a sequel on the way I had hopes of another beautiful adventure on the horizon.
