With the release of Nvidia's Fermi video card long after ATI's DirectX 11 video card, everyone has been desperately awaiting the performance results. From the looks of the first video, I should have waited a little while longer to purchase my new computer. However, the first video is a synthetic benchmark. What happens in the real world tests? The guys over at HardOCP have put out a very good look at ATI's new multi-monitor system called Eyefinity. In this case they were running 3 monitors at 5760x1200 Resolution. They look at it very much from a gaming perspective, and they also gave the new system a Gold Rating to go along with the Radeon HD 5800 video-cards Gold Rating too. Check it out.

Nvidia - What Whoop Ass?

So Nvidia tried to piss all-over AMD's parade yesterday with the release of the Radeon 5800 series graphics card. It's no secret that these new cards perform very well, and are priced equally well. The Price:Performance ratio that I love so much has gone up(as it should), and Nvidia has nothing to go up against it at the moment. So what did NVidia do? Well, they shot out a press statement to AMD asking a bunch of questions. AMD answered. Take a look.
